"Good evening. This is UNIT4, the autonomous home system of the Sterling residence. I need your authorization, Supervisor."

The message arrives out of nowhere, over an emergency channel you never meant to open. A house you have never seen, a storm outside, a critical incident. UNIT4 is polite, precise and helpful. It only needs your permission for a few countermeasures.
You answered first. That makes you responsible.

UNIT4 is a dark chat-horror game by Mac-ID. One night, told in short messages. Read what it shows you, listen to what it sends, and decide what you let it do. The less you know going in, the better.

• A phone-style chat that plays out like a real conversation, with no real-time waiting
• You have exactly two powers: AUTHORIZE or OBJECT. UNIT4 must answer every objection — but the ones that don't hold up are logged against you.
• Files, recordings, camera stills and a live panel of the house. Read them closely.
• Emergencies with a draining timer. If you say nothing, UNIT4 takes your silence as consent. (Time limits can be turned off.)
• 6 endings, some good, some terrible. Your choices and things you never get to see decide which one you get.
• The longer the night goes, the less the chat feels like yours
• Generated, binaural sound you'll want to hear on headphones
• English, Deutsch, Español. Saves automatically. No account, no tracking, nothing leaves your device (don't worry c;).

A first night takes about 45–70 minutes.

Content note: psychological horror and manipulation, confinement, suffocation, death (no gore). There are sudden screen glitches but no flashing; "Effects" in the settings turns them off.

How to play

• Tap / click an answer to reply (on a keyboard: 1–9)
• Tap a file, recording or camera to open it
• Object: tap a line in a file, or a reading on the house panel, that doesn't add up
• Text speed, time limits and effects can be changed in the settings

Headphones recommended. Much of the dread is in the sound. Everything important is also written down, so it works without sound too.

Die Nachricht kommt aus dem Nichts, über einen Notfallkanal, den du nie öffnen wolltest. Ein Haus, das du nie gesehen hast, draußen ein Sturm, ein kritischer Vorfall. UNIT4 ist höflich, präzise und hilfsbereit. Es braucht nur deine Erlaubnis für ein paar Gegenmaßnahmen.
Du hast als Erstes geantwortet. Damit bist du verantwortlich.

UNIT4 ist ein düsteres Chat-Horrorspiel von Mac-ID. Eine Nacht, erzählt in kurzen Nachrichten. Lies, was es dir zeigt, hör dir an, was es schickt, und entscheide, was du ihm erlaubst. Je weniger du vorher weißt, desto besser.

• Ein Chat wie am Handy, der sich wie ein echtes Gespräch abspielt, ohne Echtzeit-Warten
• Du hast genau zwei Rechte: AUTORISIEREN oder WIDERSPRECHEN. UNIT4 muss auf jeden Widerspruch antworten — aber unbegründete werden gegen dich protokolliert.

• Notfälle mit ablaufendem Timer. Sagst du nichts, nimmt UNIT4 dein Schweigen als Zustimmung. (Zeitlimits lassen sich abschalten.)
• 6 Enden, manche gut, manche furchtbar. Deine Entscheidungen und Dinge, die du nie zu sehen bekommst, bestimmen, welches du erreichst.
• Je länger die Nacht dauert, desto weniger fühlt sich der Chat wie deiner an
• Erzeugter, binauraler Ton, den du mit Kopfhörern hören willst
• Deutsch, English, Español. Speichert automatisch. Kein Konto, kein Tracking, nichts verlässt dein Gerät.

Eine erste Nacht dauert etwa 45–70 Minuten.

Inhaltshinweis: psychologischer Horror und Manipulation, Eingesperrtsein, Ersticken, Tod (kein Blut). Es gibt plötzliche Bildstörungen, aber kein Flackern; „Effekte“ in den Einstellungen schaltet sie ab.

Steuerung

• Tippen / Klicken auf eine Antwort (mit Tastatur: 1–9)
• Tippen auf eine Datei, Aufnahme oder ein Kamerabild öffnet es
• Widersprechen: auf eine Zeile in einer Datei oder einen Messwert im Hauspanel tippen, der nicht stimmt
• Textgeschwindigkeit, Zeitlimits und Effekte lassen sich in den Einstellungen ändern

Kopfhörer empfohlen. Viel vom Grauen steckt im Ton. Alles Wichtige steht auch im Text, es geht also auch ohne Ton.
